As of 9/10/22: We do not offer services for above-ground pools, frozen spas, new construction/builds, pool cleanings or weekly maintenance, plaster/tile work, certain heat-pump issues (which may require an HVAC contractor), or openings/closings with standard tarp covers. We also are no longer servicing spas that we did not originally sell — we can't get parts for any other brands. New customers are subject to pre-approval before we come out to the property. Services quoted over $500 require a signature and 70% deposit.

For in-ground pools in most of Sussex County. Openings include removing the cover, installing ladder and handrail hardware, adding chemicals, and priming the filtration system. Closings cover it up, blow out the lines, chemicals in, rails and ladders out, filtration shut down.

We use Merlin Industries — wide variety of patterns and premium shimmer liners. Standard 27mil wall and 20mil floor for maximum UV protection. Custom-measured to the inch. We also repair vinyl liners when damage is minor, with dive service for deep-end patches.

Wondering where your pool is losing water? Our electronic detectors can usually pin-point the source quickly so the problem gets solved instead of guessed at. Dive service available for patching liners in the deep end.

Neat, organized plumbing with proper flow rates and easy-to-access valves the homeowner can comfortably work with. We also maintain and replace filters — acid-wash the element or replace the sand, whichever your system needs.
Repair & replacement
If the pool is losing water, a leak in the lines is one of the possibilities you'll want to rule out. Pressure testing finds which line is losing water. From there, our camera service checks exactly where the leak is so we can correct it properly.

Certified dealer and installer for Loop-Loc and Merlin safety covers. Any shape or size of in-ground pool measured for a custom fit, including up-and-overs or cut-outs for water features. Patch kits in store for minor mesh or solid-cover repairs.

Over the years, plenty of experiences have taught us a lot, and a lot of ways to make things work when other companies can't. No task has yet been too difficult for us to accomplish. Always dealing with the same team means we know your pool's quirks, and you know who's pulling in the driveway.
Another thing passed down generation to generation: a love of racing. Jack started on a drag strip in 1961 and eventually found his happy place in dirt-modified racing in 1968, running the #244 big block for many years. Chris now drives the #244, and Vernon Pool and Spa is the official sponsor.

Unfortunately, no — that's an insurance liability issue for us. We service pools with safety covers (Loop-Loc, Merlin, or similar). If you need a safety cover, we measure and install custom.
We only service spas that we originally sold, because we can't get parts for other brands. If you bought your spa from us, call and we'll take care of you.
